Katy Klem - is a skilled researcher and curator of knowledge, particularly in the science of learning. Katy has a passion and knowledge for the science of learning, evidence-based instruction, and has interacted with national and international science of learning experts. She has built upon her capabilities in research analysis, data analysis and human-centered design to create tailored solutions for complex problems in education, particularly in teacher professional development at system level.
Katy was a major contributor to the transformation initiative for the Catholic Education Canberra Goulburn education system. She worked with educators to co-design seven prototypes to improve teaching and learning and created a new system-wide strategy for improving student outcomes.
Katy has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Australia, where she received the UWA Excellence Award Fogarty Foundation Scholarship. In 2016 she completed her psychology dissertation at Curtin University, where she received the Lionel Kobelke Award for overall best performance in the Bachelor of Psychology.
